Engineered wood looks just like real wood flooring. It can usually be tricky to tell the engineered wood and real wood apart just by looking at it.
Engineered hardwood flooring is designed to reduce moisture problems associated with conventional hardwood.
It will not swell or wrap making it very low maintenance and giving it a long lifespan. Only an occasional sweep to remove dust is required.
Lower installation costs
Even though engineered wood is still more expensive than vinyl tiles or carpet roles, engineered wood tends to be much cheaper than real hardwood. It is also easier to install and hence comes with lower installation fees.
